Our client envisioned a table that appeared as though it had been discovered deep within an ancient forest—a naturally fallen walnut tree reclaimed by time, with moss and mushrooms emerging from its surface as nature slowly reclaimed it. Our role was to transform that vision into a timeless work of functional art.

We began with a remarkable live edge walnut slab, preserving its natural character while introducing a crystal-clear epoxy river to achieve the exact dimensions required for the space. Suspended within the resin are carefully preserved natural moss and real mushrooms, meticulously placed to evoke the quiet beauty and authenticity of the forest floor. Every detail was intentionally composed to create depth, realism, and a sense of wonder.

Supporting the piece is a custom-fabricated steel base finished in a premium black powder coat, providing a refined architectural contrast to the warmth and organic movement of the walnut.
