The client requested something a little more than the average charcuterie board. She wanted it to be slightly over sized and be able to be used as a sink cover for her outdoor sink as well as a serving board for when she hosts gatherings at her house. This one of a kind charcuterie board showcases hand picked Texas wild flowers that have been meticulously arranged to create a beautiful center piece for any kind of gathering. The handles and the feet are solid brass. The wood of choice for this project was walnut. The charcuterie board was also finished with a special ceramic coating designed for wood ensuring this charcuterie board will last for generations, even with it being exposed to the outdoor elements.
